This series includes all the prerequisites to become certified as an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and/or an NRA Certified Rifle Instructor. NRA Certified Instructors are eligible for Lockton Affinity's Instructor Plus Insurance.
Monday, May 5, 2025 – NRA Certified Basic Pistol – 8am to 5pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for the Wednesday NRA Certified Pistol Instructor course.
Tuesday, May 6, 2025 – NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) – 8am to 3pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for all new instructors or any current Instructors who are adding a new discipline that have not successfully completed BIT within the last 24 months.
Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – NRA Certified Pistol Instructor – 8am to 6pm
Prerequisites apply. Candidates must have successfully completed both NRA Certified Basic Pistol and NRA Basic Instructor Training (can be taken on Monday and Tuesday, respectively).
Thursday, May 8, 2025 – NRA Certified Basic Rifle– 8am to 6pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for the Friday NRA Certified Rifle Instructor course
Friday, May 9, 2025 – NRA Certified Rifle Instructor – 9am to 6pm
Prerequisites apply. Candidates must have successfully completed both NRA Basic Instructor Training and NRA Certified Basic Rifle and (Can be taken on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively).
